Co-founders of Green Wave Family Wellness Center:
Chuck Cluxton, Ph.D., L.M.F.T., L.M.H.C., N.C.C.

Dr. Chuck Cluxton is a co-founder of Green Wave Family Wellness Center. He is a native of Panama City, Florida. He received both his Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Counseling and his dual Masters/Specialist degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Florida.
- Licensed by the State of Florida as a Marriage and Family Therapist (#MT-16780) and a Mental Health Counselor (# 6603) and is a National Certified Counselor (#55653).
- Completed the state of Florida’s requirements of 50 plus hours training in Hypnotherapy and is a Certified Rapid Resolution Therapy Practitioner having completed IRRT’s highest advanced level III training.
- Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (# 87642)
- Clinical Member of the American Counseling Association and a Certified Ropes Course Instructor.
Dr. Chuck has been providing counseling services in the Individual, Group, Marriage & Family format for over 30+ years. He has specialized training in dealing with Anxieties and Trauma including diagnosis of Panic Attacks and PTSD. While he has worked with clients across the age span, he has further extensive training working with troubled youth and families in crisis. His other areas of service have included adjunct professor and/or clinical supervisor in Psychology and Counseling (University of Florida, Berry College, Troy University), State of Florida clinical supervisor for therapists in training, Life Coach and counselor for the court and school systems.
Tali Cluxton, D.C., B.S.

Dr. Tali is also the co-founder of Green Wave Family Wellness Center. She is a native Floridian and a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, The Gainesville School of Massage, and the University of Florida.
- Has advanced training in nutrition, natural weight loss, the Biomeridian scanning device, the Blue laser, and multiple types of advanced chiropractic adjustment instruments and techniques.
- Worked at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida
- Received advanced sports massage training
- Is a Certified Posture Exercise Professional (C.P.E.P.)
- Has practiced as a licensed massage therapist and licensed chiropractor in the states of Georgia and now in Florida (CH 8571).
Dr. Tali has presented workshops in the healing arts in many types of forums including colleges and private institutes. She is also committed to continuing education. She regularly attends seminars on neuromuscular adjustment techniques, soft tissue manipulation, nutrition, natural detox and weight loss, and healing with advanced technologies.

Kayla Roberts MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, PRACTICE PARTNER
We are proud to share that Kayla Roberts is partner at Green Wave. Kayla was born and raised in Panama City Florida. She attained her Bachelor of Science in nursing and her Master of Nursing Science from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN, which provided the foundation and training to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Among her many areas of expertise, Kayla specializes in Adult and Child Psychiatric Medication Management, Holistic Psychiatric Services, and Psycho-educational Counseling.
- Licensed by the State of Florida as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) License #APRN11005856
- Board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Acquired specialized skills in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders, medication management, psychoeducation, and counseling of both children (ages 5 and up) and adult populations.

- Is an experienced assistant professor at Gulf Coast State College, Panama City, FL. as a Practical Nursing Instructor/Adjunct RN Clinical instructor 08/2017 – 05/2020- having taught over 100 practical nursing students and over 50 registered nurses and further, she remains active in the training and supervision of aspiring nurses in the field.
Kayla Roberts is a professional psychiatric nurse practitioner who is excited to be with Green Wave Family Wellness Center as a practice owner and partner where she can offer her gifts of holistic psychiatric services. Kayla is deeply committed to improving the mental health of our community and to helping clients living their best lives.
Lindsey Bailey, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Lindsey Bailey was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and moved to the Panama City area at a young age to eventually graduate from Mosley High School. Her parents being a radiologist and a RN, inspired her to explore the medical field in addition to her love of French studies. Lindsey ‘s education ultimately led her to the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she attained her Master of Science in Nursing along with her Master of Art in French Literature. Lindsey found her true love became the mental health field where she has specialized skills in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders, medication management, psychoeducation, and counseling from children ages 5 and up through adulthood and the geriatric population. As an advanced nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatry, Lindsey’s strong suit includes having a genuine compassion and concern when providing care for the health of her patients and advocating for their best treatment. She also utilizes a holistic approach to her practice of medicine educating patients on alternative therapies. The care Lyndsey provides is patient centered with the goal of work together to develop a treatment plan that will produce the best outcome for the well-being and overall mental health of her patients. It is her goal that her clients live their best life.
Counselors within Green Wave:
Joseph “Ben” Price, MS, LMHC
Licensed mental health counselor in the State of Florida (#MH18829). Ben received his Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University, Bachelor’s Degree from Ashford University, and Associate’s Degree in Instructor of Military Science and Technology from The Community College of the Air Force. As a therapist, Ben has worked with a variety of client populations across the lifespan. He has extensive experience assisting those struggling with a wide range of issues to include substance use, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, trauma and more.
- Ben specializes in the treatment of substance use, mood problems, and trauma.
- This has included correctional substance use treatment, inpatient behavioral health (active-duty military), and most recently outpatient behavioral health with a focus on substance use and co-occurring disorders.
- Treatment modalities are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills, and the integrated SMART Recovery model for addiction and compulsive behaviors.
- Ben has completed Basic Accelerated Resolution Training to enhance trauma-related care.
Ben’s therapeutic approach focuses on the relationship between thoughts/feelings/actions. He emphasizes the need to address all three aspects, at his clients’ own speed. As a U.S. Air Force veteran and father, Ben brings a grounded, practical presence to his work.
Robin Finley, MS, LMHC, MCAP
Robin Finley is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with five years of experience. She is a native of the state of Virginia. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Florida State University and a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Troy University.
For the past ten years, Robin has worked in multiple settings, including employment services, career coaching and work for non-profit agencies.
- She has provided service coordination, case management and forensic case management and has worked with those suffering from grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, as well as those suffering with symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness.
- Throughout Robin’s career, she has provided individual and group counseling, career coaching, and individual counseling to all ages, including adolescents, military members and older adults.
- Robin has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Certified Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder specialist, career counseling, trauma counseling, grief recovery and addictions. She is also certified as a Master’s Level Addictions Professional.
Robin believes that the understanding of yourself at any age is the best start towards becoming your highest best self. As a seasoned Mental Health Therapist, she embraces the idea that recovery and discovery is best facilitated in a safe and gentle environment. This condition best allows one to learn their own motivations and how to challenge themselves to risk new approaches in life no matter where in life your journey starts.
Lynne Schneider, MSW, LCSW
Lynne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida (SW 8397) and a long-term resident of Panama City. For the past 17 years Lynne has worked in different settings to provide counseling services to a broad range of individuals which include:
- Children as a HOPE Counselor in Bay District Schools. Lynn assisted through direct counseling services as well as through program design and psychoeducational assistance to teachers and parents to best support the Child’s growth.
- Children and families at Children’s Home Society of Florida in Panama City both as a Program Supervisor and as a Counselor II. Lynn’s focus included training and supervising staff and direct services in the individual and group format helping Emotionally handicapped and severely Emotionally Disturbed students in all grades.
- Active-duty military and their families stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base as a Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist. Her services included assessment, direct counseling services including in home interventions.
Lynne believes her role as a counselor is to assist individuals, couples, and families to find solutions to the challenges they are facing through guiding the ways clients ask questions about their lives and then applying clear skills-based solutions. She tailors interventions to meet the needs of her clients drawing on a broad range of psychotherapy techniques. Lynne sees therapy as a collaborative process and considers it a privilege to share that journey of growth and healing with her clients.
Adrian Cook, MS, RMHCI
Adrian Cook is a Masters’ Level Mental Health Counselor with over 15 years of experience and has a passion for promoting mental health and wellness. She is originally from Mississippi and moved to Panama City 21 years ago by way of the United States Air Force. Adrian has dedicated her professional journey to assisting individuals, couples, and families in navigating the complexities of life and relationships.
Her diverse experience includes:
- Working in a wide array of institutions within the mental health field with at-risk adults. In Panama City Florida, Adrian was a Forensic Mental Health Counselor with the Center for Life Management, and intensive Outpatient Therapist with JourneyPure Emerald coast, and remains a clinical assessment Specialist now for 15 years with Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital.
- Adrian has counseling experience in the school settings via Florda Therapy Services included assessment and treatment interventions for clients in crisis conditions and for those with serious disturbance problems.
- Within the Fourteenth Judicial Court System, Adrian assists with therapeutic courts coordinating with the Veterans Treatment Coordinator and the Therapeutic Justice Director to assess, accept and verify necessary treatments for referrals. She meets with the participants to observe progress and provide Group counseling sessions three days a week. Through the modality of group counseling, she works to better inform and facilitate clients to move through the court system and best facilitate behavioral changes.
Adrian is a wonderful new addition that we are proud to have on our Green Wave Staff. Her diversity in counseling experience is grounded in strong assessment skills used to guide her ability to provide empowering and skill-based counseling. While Adrian is trained to work across the age span, she offers a true gift in her work with children. Her playful nature and soothing mannerisms help create the safe environment for personal growth across the ages of clientele. It is Adrian’s view that it is important to help her clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe.
